For 31 years we’ve been saying “there’s always next year” and once again, ‘next year’ is here. But how do we as fans approach this year’s game against Florida? Do we go in with the same level of optimism we’ve held for the last several years or should we tread lightly to stop ourselves from getting heartbroken?
Why am I so torn? Well, for one there is a lot of reasons to be optimistic about Saturday. Kentucky has talent across the board and Kentucky will be lining up against practically the same team they lined up against last year as Florida is returning 17 of their 22 starters.
