LEXINGTON – Maybe Kentucky basketball’s 3-point shooting isn’t woeful after all.
The Wildcats still rank outside the top 200 nationally at 32.1% from 3-point range on the season, but Kentucky has made 26 of 58 3-point attempts (44.8%) in the last four games.
“You have Immanuel (Quicklely), you have Nate (Sestina), you have Tyrese (Maxey) and even Ashton (Hagans), so, I mean, we can make them, but we’re one of those teams, we get to the foul line, we get you in foul trouble,” Kentucky coach John Calipari said after his team hit 9 of 15 3s in a 76-67 win over Alabama Saturday.
