Kentucky’s Hamidou Diallo was one of six players to work out for the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
The Suns hold the No. 1 overall pick in next month’s draft, but Monday’s workout was to get a look at potential backcourt options for the Suns’ later picks in the draft; most likely, the second-round picks at No. 31 and 59.
Diallo was joined at the workout by fellow guards Aaron Holiday (UCLA), Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk (Kansas), Anfernee Simons (IMG Academy), Tony Carr (Penn State) and Bruce Brown Jr. (Miami).
The Suns’ official website quoted Diallo as saying, “It was a great workout… I think it was a good workout.
