Hamidou Diallo asked to defend Jevon Carter in second half

One of the biggest factors to Kentucky’s comeback vs. West Virginia was defense, specifically, shutting down Jevon Carter, who scored 18 points in the first half. Today, John Calipari told reporters that at halftime, Hamidou Diallo asked to guard Carter and held him to only eight second half points, a “big step” in Hami’s development.
