Thank goodness for Antonio Reeves and Reed Sheppard. Down by as many as 13 points, the latter sparked Kentucky‘s run on the defensive end while the former carried the scoring load on offense to retake and extend the lead.
The fifth-year senior scored 13 points on 5-10 shooting and 3-5 from three to help pave the way for Kentucky’s 38-30 lead at the break. Justin Edwards has added eight points on 2-3 shooting and 4-4 at the line to go with five rebounds, followed by Tre Mitchell with seven points and two boards, D.J. Wagner with six points and two assists and Rob Dillingham with four points and five rebounds.
