Another day, another second half deficit for the Kentucky Wildcats.
This time at least Immanuel Quickley had a chance to retake the lead with a three at the buzzer, but it fell short off the front iron. Johnny Juzang’s three cut the deficit to two with less than a minute to play.
Kentucky’s offense was sloppy but they kept Breein Tyree in check for almost the entire half. Ole Miss’ sharpshooter had two early fouls and only four points until he found his stroke late in the half with two big threes. UK made just 30% of their field goals and committed nine turnovers.
