The former Kentucky head football coach alleged that LSU and football head coach, Ed Orgeron, used their influence to keep out-of-state schools from attending satellite camps in Baton Rouge.
Mumme is the head coach at Division III Belhaven University, the school hosting the satellite camp. The camp was originally scheduled to be held in Baton Rouge but Louisiana politics forced the camp to be canceled.
Mumme re-scheduled the camp to be held in Hammon, La., which was once again canceled due to pressure from LSU.
On Wednesday Mumme criticized Orgeron and LSU’s actions in an interview with WLBT in Jackson, Mississippi calling Orgeron “paranoid.
