Greg Brown’s father thinks three schools lead, and Kentucky isn’t one of them

Kentucky will host the nation’s top uncommitted power forward this weekend, and it looks like John Calipari and his staff have some ground to make up.

Greg Brown III, a five-star prospect out of Austin, TX, is down to a final five of Auburn, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan, and Texas, with a decision expected to happen in the spring. While we wait for a final announcement, the 6-foot-9, 195-pound forward is in the process of taking his official visits before taking the next step.

And according to his father, the visits have made quite the impression on the consensus top-ten prospect, so much that he feels the three schools they have visited thus far – Texas, Auburn, and Memphis – are the leaders in his son’s recruitment.
