Great Moments in Kentucky Bowl History

When you think of Kentucky football, an illustrious bowl history does not come to mind. However, the Kentucky Wildcats have experienced plenty of success once they’ve reached the postseason.

Saturday’s Gator TaxSlayer Bowl will be UK’s 16th bowl game. UK has a winning record in postseason play, just barely, at 8-7. The one-point loss in the 1993 Peach Bowl began a three-game postseason losing streak until Rich Brooks started a three-game winning streak with a win over Clemson in the 2006 Music City Bowl.

It’s been six seasons since Kentucky fans have enjoyed postseason play.
