JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – With 4:36 remaining in Thursday night's NCAA Tournament game, Wofford led Seton Hall by a slim margin of 67-66.
At the 3:12 mark, the lead reached 76-66.
A trio of 3-pointers rapidly opened up a close game, allowing the Terriers to cruise to the finish line in an 84-68 victory. It was their first NCAA Tournament win in program history, and it was a shooting display, demonstrating how Wofford (30-4) has been good enough to earn a No. 7 seed in the tournament.
Next up is Kentucky.
