LEXINGTON, Ky. – In advance of college football’s early signing period Wednesday, here’s a primer on Kentucky football’s 2019 recruiting class.
IN THE RANKINGS
As of Monday, Rivals was highest on the class, ranking it 28th in the country. 247Sports ranks the class No. 31 nationally, and ESPN ranks it No. 32. The 247Sports Composite, which averages the ratings of the major recruiting services, slots the Wildcats in at No. 32 as well.

WHY YOU SHOULD LIKE THIS CLASS
It should probably come as no surprise that with the current Kentucky defense ranked eighth nationally in fewest points allowed per game and Josh Allen winning three National Defensive Player of the Year awards, Mark Stoops and staff did some heavy lifting in the class on that side of the ball.
