Get ready to see a lot more of Chris Matthews in the Seahawks’ rotation

Former Cat Chris Matthews was the breakout star of the Super Bowl, making his first four NFL catches for a game-high 109 yards and game-tying touchdown late in the first half. Matthews’ story is pretty incredible. He went undrafted in 2011 and after a short stint on the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad, played a year in the arena football league in Iowa and another year in the Canadian football league. Last summer, he was working at a Foot Locker until he got an invitation to try out for the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad. Had the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, Matthews probably would have been MVP.
