Georgia Roughs No. 6 Kentucky Up in Athens

The Georgia Bulldogs used physical play and favorable officiating to upset No. 6 Kentucky 82-69 Tuesday night in Athens.

Georgia (13-2, 1-1 SEC) finished 29-for-38 from the free throw line in a game that featured 45 fouls, 9 monitor reviews and 57 charity shots.

Kentucky was just 6-for-25 (24%) from the three-point line in the loss.

Lamont Butler led the Wildcats (12-3, 1-1 SEC) with 20 points. Brandon Garrison added 13 points. Otega Oweh finished with 12.

The Cats will try to get back on track Saturday at Mississippi State.
