Georgia has dismissed baseball player Adam Sasser after allegations surfaced that he made racial slurs to Georgia quarterback Justin Fields during Saturday’s football game.
Sasser issued an apology for his behavior on Twitter:
I spoke with Justin last night and we are on good terms!

According to ESPN:
Adam Sasser, who played first base and was one of the Bulldogs’ top hitters, was alleged to have shouted racist remarks at Georgia quarterback Justin Fields, according to a Facebook post made by another student, Klarissa Gulebian, a third-year animal science major from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
