Here’s some unexpected and unfortunate news for your Friday afternoon: multiple outlets are reporting that Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel will step down at the end of the season because of health reasons. In a press release, the university says Pinkel was diagnosed with lymphoma in May and will stay with the team through December 31 or until a new head coach is hired.
