LEXINGTON – The first freshman wide receiver from Kentucky’s 2017 signing class to make his collegiate debut was not Lynn Bowden.
It was not Josh Ali. It was not Isaiah Epps.
After a standout preseason camp in August 2017, former three-star recruit Clevan Thomas was the first Wildcat receiver to make his debut on Sept. 2 in the season opener at Southern Mississippi.
But more than two years later, Thomas had just six catches on his resume entering Saturday’s game against Arkansas.
