It’s only fair that these headlines are dedicated to DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins, as the former Kentucky Wildcats star suffered a saddening knee injury yesterday that could sideline him for the upcoming season.
On Thursday, Cousins’ agent confirmed the All-Star center tore the ACL in his knee. The injury couldn’t come at a more devastating time, as Cousins was rebounding from a torn Achilles two seasons ago and multiple minor, nagging injuries this season.
This season was also poised to suit Cousins well, considering he was in line to play alongside fellow Los Angeles Lakers Anthony Davis and Lebron James.
