In his second stint with the Tennessee Titans, Frankfort, KY native Logan Woodside has done everything he can to make the final roster for the nearby NFL team.
Woodside, who is a former quarterback from the University of Toledo (Toledo, coincidentally, is Kentucky’s opponent to open the season on Saturday), has been vying for the third-string position to make the Titans final 53-man roster, which must be submitted to the NFL’s office by 3 p.m. on Saturday.
During the Titans final preseason game on Thursday against the Chicago Bears, Woodside threw for 212 yards, completing 17 of his 29 passing attempts while not tossing an interception.
