Visitors to Kentucky’s state capital will receive a warm welcome and a friendly reminder that the city of Frankfort is the hometown to one of the Commonwealth’s most electrifying athletes.
Tuesday afternoon the city hosted a dedication ceremony for a pair of signs welcoming folks to the “Home of Wan’Dale Robinson, 2018 Kentucky Mr. Football.” The roadside signs will be placed near I-64 on U.S. 127 and on U.S. 60 by the “Welcome to Frankfort” signs.
In Robinson’s illustrious career at Western Hills High School he had 6,796 rushing yards,1,758 receiving yards and 131 touchdowns, the second-most touchdowns scored in Kentucky High School Football history.
