One of the nation’s top offensive linemen is reconsidering his college decision after spending the weekend at the University of Kentucky.
R.J. Adams withdrew his verbal pledge to Penn State shortly after he returned from an official visit in Lexington. A four-star prospect, Rivals ranks Adams as the No. 12 offensive guard in America. His prep career will conclude at the 2020 Under Armour All-American Game.
The Virginia native originally committed to Penn State in April. Kentucky defensive coordinator Brad White did his part to end that affair on the Wildcats’ behalf.
Adams was one of five four-star recruits that stayed in Lexington Sunday to spend time with the Wildcats.
