LEXINGTON – As recently as a week ago, it appeared the February signing period would pass without notice for Kentucky football.
Kentucky signed 17 high school recruits in December and has added two FBS transfers to the 2021 roster. Junior-college linebacker Joko Willis, the only UK verbal commitment who did not sign in December, officially decommitted from the class last week, but Mark Stoops now appears poised to replace him with a four-star prospect.
The Wildcats have been connected to several players currently in the transfer portal, too. With UK’s spring semester starting last week, any additional transfers joining former Georgia Tech outside linebacker Justice Dingle and Nebraska wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson at Kentucky will not be able to enroll until the summer.
