A crazy 2017 comes to a close tonight, where we saw countless memorable moments in the world of Kentucky athletics. UK basketball reached the Elite Eight, the UK baseball team reached new heights, Volleyball Cats had their biggest year in school history, track success, cheerleading, etc.
For UK football, we saw plenty of both good and bad.
The Wildcats pulled out back-to-back seven-win regular seasons for the first time since 2006-2007, including big victories over South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt, among others. The missed opportunity for 10-3, however, still lingers in our minds.
Now, it’s time to look forward to what next year brings for the football team.
