Kentucky goes into the TaxSlayer Bowl as a four-point underdog to a very talented Georgia Tech football team, though both teams stack up similar to one another. The Wildcats and Yellow Jackets both maintain run-happy offenses, struggle defending the run on defense, and experienced some pretty impressive late-season upswings to carry momentum into bowl season.
When rumors spread about Georgia Tech being a potential matchup for the Wildcats, many (including myself) were quick to point out the “triple-option” offense, Georgia Tech’s lack of passing ability, and other common phrases when referencing the team.
Some of these stereotypes are true, others are a little off.
