Former UK forward Sacha Killeya-Jones announced on Twitter he was leaving North Carolina State to pursue his dream of being a professional basketball player.
On February 13, Wolfpack head coach Kevin Keatts made an announcement that Jones was “no longer on the team.” Today Killeya-Jones made his future plans known. In a statement on Twitter, Killeya-Jones said the following:
“I would like to thank Coach Keatts and NC State for the opportunity to transfer here and to be a part of the program. After considering my future options, I’ve made the difficult decision to begin the immediate pursuit of a professional basketball career.
