Big news came through for one former Wildcat on Thursday, as Kyle Cody received a call up to the Big Leagues from the Rangers alternate camp.
You might remember Cody’s name from his standout year in 2016 where he went 6-2 with a 3.35 ERA for the baseball Cats, which ultimately helped him to being drafted in the sixth round with the 189th pick to Texas.
Cody is coming off Tommy John surgery and last pitched in 2018. In 2017, he posted a 9-6 W/L with a 2.64 ERA and appearing in 23 games.
