Despite announcing his departure from the Kentucky basketball program over two months ago, former UK wing Kahlil Whitney remains uncertain of his future.
According to Evan Daniels of 247Sports, the 6-foot-7 forward out of Chicago, IL has been spending the last two months working out and focusing on improving, not worrying about whether he will be entering the NBA Draft or transferring to another school.
“I’ve been working extremely hard on my game these last couple of months just focusing on getting better, stronger and staying healthy,” Whitney told Daniels.
Just a week after Whitney announced he was leaving Kentucky, Daniels reported that the former five-star recruit in the class of 2019 was leaning toward putting his name in the NBA Draft.
