With the NBA trade deadline less than 24 hours away, there’s a chance a handful of former Kentucky Wildcats will be shipped to new places.
Today, one former Wildcat was moved, as Brandon Knight was traded from the Houston Rockets to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a three-team deal that also included the Sacramento Kings.
Knight, along with Marquese Chriss, and the Rockets’ 2019 lottery protected first-round pick will head to the Cavaliers, Iman Shumpert, Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin will head to Houston, and Alec Burks, along with a second-round pick, will go to the Kings.
