Former Kentucky men’s basketball player Jodie Meeks has been named to the 2024 Gwinnett County Sports Hall of Fame class.
Meeks was a star player for Norcross (Ga.) High School prior to coming to Kentucky. He went on to play in the NBA for 11 seasons and won an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors in 2019.

Meeks also reached the highest level in his sport as an NBA player for 11 seasons, which included a 2019 NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors. He was a second-round pick of Milwaukee in 2009, and had his best NBA season in 2013-14 with the Lakers, averaging 15.
