NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. — In their professional debuts, former University of Kentucky golfers Cooper Musselman and Chip McDaniel crept up the leaderboard Saturday to make the cut for the third round of the Barbasol Championship.
Both men finished their second rounds Saturday morning after rain forced delays Friday afternoon.
Musselman, a graduate of Louisville's St. Xavier High School, shot a 3-under-par 69 in the second round with five birdies and two bogeys. He matched the score in the third round, firing another 69 to close the day, leaving him at 8-under entering Sunday's final round, 10 shots back of the leaders.
