ATLANTA, Ga. -- Kentucky football defensive players will see a familiar face on the coaching staff this fall.
Former UK linebacker Courtney Love, who served as a team captain the last two seasons, has joined the staff as a defensive graduate assistant, according to UK's media guide released at Southeastern Conference Media Days Sunday.
Love was not drafted after completing his eligibility at UK but spent time with the Cleveland Browns at a rookie mini camp this spring. The Youngstown, Ohio native served as a starter at middle linebacker both of his seasons at UK after transferring from Nebraska.
