A former UK recruit and Kentucky all-state offensive lineman is looking for a new home.
Wednesday afternoon Bryan Hudson entered his name into the transfer portal. Last season as a true freshman he started in 10 games at center for Virginia Tech, who ended the year with a loss to Kentucky in the Belk Bowl. In 2020 he earned two starts at right guard, playing in eight of the Hokies’ ten games.
A 6-foot-4 310-pound interior offensive lineman, Hudson was a first team all-state selection at Scott County High School in 2018. There he was also a standout track athlete, winning three state championships in the discus and four in the shot put; his throw of 63 feet, 9.
