Former Louisville star Terrence Williams and 17 other former NBA players have been charged in New York federal court in an alleged multi-million-dollar health insurance fraud scheme.
According to an indictment that was unsealed this morning, the group was allegedly attempting to rip off the NBA’s benefit plan.
Williams was identified in the alleged scheme as the “ringleader.” Other names mentioned include Tony Allen, Shannon Brown and Ronald Glen “Big Baby” Davis.
