With the FIBA World Cup on the horizon, USA Basketball has elected to let 12 players from the NBA G-League represent America in the first two rounds of qualifying. They have invited 14 players to camp to compete for those 12 spots. Two of those players happen to be Aaron Harrison of the Reno Bighorns and Terrence Jones of the Santa Cruz Warriors.
The Team USA qualifying squad will be coached by former NBA head coach and current ESPN analyst Jeff Van Gundy. Training camp will take place from February 15-20 in Los Angeles, California.
