Former Kentucky Wildcats among ESPN’s top rising stars

There’s even more evidence that Kentucky is leaving its mark in the NBA, as ESPN’s top 50 under 25 rankings featured eight Wildcats in the top 35. That’s twice as many as any other school, and Kentucky was one of just three schools to have multiple players in the top 35.

Unsurprisingly, Anthony Davis was No. 1 on the list.

Davis is on pace to join David Robinson and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players in NBA history to average 20 points, 10 rebounds, two blocks and one steal per game in four of their first five seasons, and he has a chance to become the first player to average 28 PPG and 12 RPG since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000-01.
