A former Kentucky Wildcat is once again on the move. The college football season kicks off in two weeks. It’s not the ideal time to enter the transfer portal, yet this cornerback had seen enough of the new regime in West Lafayette.
On3’s Matt Zenitz reports Jamari Brown is transferring from Purdue. The cornerback survived spring practice and almost an entire fall camp with former Illinois defensive coordinator Ryan Walters, but decided to depart Purdue with the season-opener against Fresno State on the horizon.
Jamari Brown started in 13 games over two seasons for the Boilermakers.
