The latest report regarding the Minnesota Timberwolves drama is that All-NBA center Karl-Anthony Towns will not sign his contract extension until the team decides on the future of Jimmy Butler.
NBC Sports reports that Butler is set to meet with Timberwolves brass on Monday to discuss his future with the organization.
Butler was acquired by the Timberwolves last summer during the NBA Draft and suited up for 53 games to average just over 22 points per game in his first season.
Towns, however, has played three seasons in Minnesota and never missed a start.
