Two former Kentucky teammates are making their way back to the United States after their overseas basketball leagues were suspended.
Derek Willis and Dominique Hawkins gave some updates on their current status amid the coronavirus pandemic that is devastating the U.S. and several other parts of the world.
Willis is currently stationed in Germany, where he plays for Ratiopharm Ulm of the Basketball Bundesliga, while Hawkins is also in Germany, playing for Ehingen Urspring in the league below the Basketball Bundesliga. According to social media, both are back home safe and sound.
