Former Kentucky offensive lineman Cole Mosier retires from football

Prior to his senior season, the Northern Kentucky native tore his ACL and therefore had his Kentucky career end in a tragic way.

During his time in Lexington, Mosier started 13 games while appearing in 32 and was the Left Tackle for an offensive line that was nominated for the Joe Moore award, which recognizes the nation’s best line.

Last year, Mosier signed a deal with the Memphis franchise of the newly founded AAF, but wasn’t able to come back from injury to play for the team.

On Sunday afternoon, the former Cat posted the following message on Twitter which served as his retirement from the game of football:
