Devin Askew spent one season at Kentucky and things did not go great. The former top-50 recruit was on the 2020-21 Kentucky team that had to battle COVID-19 with the rest of college basketball and finished the season at 9-16. Askew decided to move on after the year and spent last season at Texas. Things also did not go great in Austin, but the Southern California native appeared to find a good home in the Pac-12.
Askew returned to his home state this year but moved up to the Bay Area. The two-time transfer is currently a junior guard at California playing for former Georgia head coach Mark Fox in Berkeley.
