LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football's latest addition to the 2019 recruiting class is a familiar name.
Former UK wide receiver JaVonte Richardson, who transferred to Iowa Western Community College after a redshirt season in 2017, is headed back to Lexington. Now rated as a three-star prospect, Richardson tweeted Sunday he had recommitted to Kentucky.
"I have unfinished business to take care of," he tweeted.
Rated as a four-star prospect out of Maple Heights High School in Ohio, Richardson signed with Kentucky as a member of the 2017 class. He lasted one year on campus before moving on to Iowa Western.
