Former Kentucky football quarterback Terry Wilson is transferring to New Mexico

LEXINGTON - Former Kentucky quarterback Terry Wilson has apparently picked a school for his final season of college football.

Wilson, who went 17-8 as UK's starting quarterback across three seasons, is finalizing a transfer to New Mexico, according to a report from Yahoo Sports. New Mexico, a member of the Mountain West Conference, went 2-5 during the 2020 season.

Wilson served as Kentucky's starter for two full seasons and part of a third that ended early due to a knee injury. He led the Wildcats to wins at Florida, Tennessee and Louisville as well as bowl victories over Penn State and NC State as the starting quarterback.
