Former Kentucky football player Vincent “Sweet Pea” Burns has passed away at the age of 43.

Burns was a three-year starter at defensive tackles for the Wildcats from 2002-2004. He was All-SEC twice and went on to play for the Indianapolis Colts.

Vincent “Sweet Pea” Burns was a three-year starter and a big-play performer, totaling 168 tackles, including 37 tackles for loss.
