Chris Westry is looking for a new NFL home. The former Kentucky cornerback was waived by the Carolina Panthers in their first round of cuts following the preseason opener.
Westry did not perform particularly well in his first and only game for the Panthers. According to PFF, he was targeted three times. Washington wide receivers recorded a reception on each target to Westry for a total of 39 yards, moving the sticks after every completion.
It wasn’t all bad for former Kentucky Wildcats in the 23-21 win over the Commanders.
