Reid Travis talks about his recovery process and reactions to returning in UK's win over Alabama Dominique Yates, Louisville Courier Journal
LEXINGTON — Reid Travis' professional basketball career will begin in Europe.
The former Kentucky star will play for Medi Bayreuth in the German Basketball Bundesliga next season, UK announced via Twitter Monday. Travis, who spent the first four years of his college career at Stanford, was not drafted in June after one season as a graduate transfer at Kentucky.
Travis averaged 4.2 points and four rebounds per game in five games in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League for the Atlanta Hawks earlier this month.
