Kentucky guard Tyler Herro on how his time at UK prepared him for the NBA Akeem Glaspie, IndyStar
INDIANAPOLIS — Former Kentucky guard Tyler Herro entered the 2019 NBA Draft process with the reputation as one of the best shooters in the class. During Friday's pre-draft workout with the Indiana Pacers at the St. Vincent Center, he put his sweet shooting touch on display in front of coach Nate McMillan and the Pacers' brass.
His mechanics were pure as he ran through a catch-and-shoot drill near the end of the workout. No wasted movement or hitches, releasing the ball at the top of his jump just above his face with a quick flick of his wrist.
