After one season in Lexington, Johnny Juzang is heading back to the Golden State to continue his college basketball career.
Juzang, a 6-foot-6 guard from Los Angeles, is transferring to UCLA, he announced Thursday on Twitter. He'll have three seasons of college eligibility remaining and will request an NCAA waiver to play this coming fall for coach Mick Cronin's Bruins.
Juzang grew up 15 minutes from UCLA's campus, he said in his statement announcing the move. He thanked UK coaches, teammates and fans, but "with that said, I can't explain how excited I am to play for Coach Cronin and UCLA.
