Alex Poythress has spent all of his professional basketball career making a name for himself in the NBA Developmental League. Poythress has spent the season starring for the Fort Wayne Mad-Ants alongside another former Kentucky Basketball star, Marquis Teague.
While in the D-League Alex Poythress became an absolute terror on the floor. While with the Mad Ants, Poythress has averaged 18.5 points to go along with seven rebounds per game. Although this is against D-League competition, it’s a step up from the streaky performances he had at Kentucky.
At 6-7, weighing in at 235 pounds, Alex Poythress has the body to go along with his athleticism on the floor.
