We’re watching and waiting as the FBI continues to carry on its investigation into the influence of criminal money in college basketball.
Once finished, that investigation could leave as many as 50 assistant and head coaches looking for a job, a former college basketball coach told The Los Angeles Times.
One former high-major college coach who retains deep connections in the business said he believes the case will lead to 40 to 50 job openings for head and assistant coaches by the spring.
Already, some coaches at schools not linked to the first round of charges have retained attorneys.
