Landen Bartleson, a former three-star prospect and Boyle County HS standout, has been dismissed from the Notre Dame football program following his arrest on Friday.
According to Danville police, Bartleson was one of three suspects arrested after breaking into a Boyle County gun store and stealing nine firearms. He is also being linked to a vehicle theft that reportedly occurred at Centre College around the same time.
Police have confirmed that Bartleson is facing charges of Burglary, 1st degree, Criminal Mischief, 1st degree, Receiving stolen property, and Unlawful transaction with a minor.
After reviewing the case, Notre Dame has announced that they are releasing the Danville, KY native from the Letter of Intent he signed on Dec.
