Kentucky Wildcats wide receiver Shamar Porter is leaving after one year with the program.
According to 247 Sports’ Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer, Porter is entering the transfer portal. He will have four years of eligibility left after redshirting this season.
A 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Nashville (TN), Porter was one of Kentucky’s biggest signings in the class of 2023. However, a preseason injury led to him taking a redshirt. He did appear in one game but didn’t catch a pass.
Still, Porter was someone the coaching staff was high on.
